The magnet on this charger holds my phone so firmly that a pothole on the highway didn't budge it, which is more than I can say for the vent clip I used before. Setup was a two-second stick-and-go, and the ball joint hasn't sagged even in this heat.
The magnetic grip is strong enough that my phone stayed put even when I hit a pothole on a rough road. Charging kicks in the second it snaps on, which is way more convenient than fumbling with a cable.
My old vent mount dropped my phone twice on rough roads, but this magnetic one holds it steady even when I hit a pothole. The grip is solid and the magnet clicks in instantly, which makes one-handed mounting way easier than fiddling with clips.
